The Northern Animal Health Initiative was created by Veterinarians Without Borders, and is focused on building capacity for animal health care in underserved communities across Nunavut and the Northwest Territories. They provide veterinary clinics and training to remote communities with no access to veterinary services. Their goal is to strengthen the health of both community members and domesticated animals living in the Northwest Territories.
